For a wonderfully nourishing combination for your skin. Experience the nourishing power of nature with our EWG Verified Organic Shea Butter combined with our Ultra Hydrating Face Oil.
- Organic Shea-Cred Shea Butter: Penetrates deep into the skin to provide long-lasting hydration and combat dryness.
- Ultra Hydrating Face Oil: Deeply nourishes and replenishes, leaving your skin feeling soft, supple, and radiant.
How to Combine these two great products to soften your skin and and seal in moisture.
The key is to use the face oil to help soften and spread the shea butter, and to use the shea butter as a balm to seal in moisture.
Method 1: Blending in Your Hand (Recommended for Face)
This method ensures you use a small, controlled amount and get a lighter consistency.
Prep: Start with a clean face. The best time to apply is when your skin is still slightly damp (after cleansing or toning) to help lock in that moisture.
Scoop the Shea Butter: Take a very small, pea-sized amount of the Shea-Cred Shea Butter. Since shea butter is thick, remember that a little goes a long way, especially for the face.
Add Face Oil: Put 1-2 drops of the Organic Hydrating Face Oil onto the shea butter in the palm of your hand.
Emulsify/Melt: Rub your palms together quickly. The warmth of your hands and the addition of the oil will melt the shea butter into a smoother, more spreadable balm consistency.
Apply: Gently press and pat the mixture all over your face and neck. Avoid rubbing too vigorously. The mixture should absorb over a few minutes, leaving your skin feeling protected and deeply moisturized.
Method 2: Layering for All Body Parts
This method is useful if you want a separate application of each product.
Oil First (Option A - Lighter): Apply 1-2 drops of the Organic Hydrating Face Oil to your damp skin. Gently massage it in. Once absorbed, take a tiny amount of the Shea-Cred Shea Butter, rub it between your fingers to melt, and pat it lightly over dry areas (like cheeks or around the eyes) to seal everything in.
Shea Butter First (Option B - Heavier/Overnight): Take a small amount of the Shea-Cred Shea Butter, melt it in your hands, and apply it to your face. Then, apply 1-2 drops of the face oil over the top. This can create a heavier occlusive barrier, which is great for very dry skin or as an overnight treatment.
General Tips:
Patch Test: Always do a small patch test when introducing new products to your face, especially products like shea butter which can be richer.
Storage: Store the shea butter in a cool, dry place. If it gets warm, it will melt, and while it will solidify again when cooled, the texture might become slightly grainy (which is a natural process and doesn't affect its efficacy)
Multi-Purpose: Don't forget that both products can be used on other dry areas! The shea butter is excellent for hands, elbows, feet, and dry patches on the body.
