Products and Standards

Since 2011, all of our products have been handcrafted in Santa Barbara, California with the finest organic ingredients.

We believe in serving the freshest product possible so any item you order from us is typically made within a week or so of your order. This is why we ship twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays vs. daily. We believe the trade off between freshness and faster fulfillment is worth the wait. But, most orders do get fulfilled and shipped within 24-48 hours.

Our Organic Shea Butters and Organic Body Balms are made in batches of 12 to 60  (depending on demand) while our Organic Lip Balms are handcrafted in batches of 100 to 200 at a time.

Our Organic Shea Butter Bar Soaps are cold process soaps made in batches of 160 bars at a time and are hand cut, beveled, and hand wrapped. We transitioned from soap boxes to soap wraps with a bio-degradable shrink wrap. By moving from boxes to a biodegradable product we are using 85% less material.

We do use palm oil to ensure our soap bars are long-lasting and provide a rich, creamy lather. However, we only use RSPO Certified Sustainable Palm Oil. This certification ensures that our oil is produced without deforestation, protects wildlife habitats, and respects the rights of local communities and workers.
